Abstracts Journals

Corrosion as an interdisciplinary subject comes wholly or in part within the coverage of a number of abstract publications. An abstracts journal is likely to be useful for browsing or keeping informed generally on a subject. The corrosion information should be easy to locate, preferably in a specific section if the publication is not for corrosion only. Abstracts journals are also available as computer-searchable databases from 1970 onwards. The databases are increasingly used to search for information for a specific purpose; in a data base it does not matter that the references that are sought are in fact widely scattered. Below, publications with a corresponding database have been marked with a *.
