Affiliate Members
Since 2009, Affiliate Membership of the EFC is available to organisations which support the purpose of the EFC (see Article 3 of the EFC Statutes) on payment of an appropriate annual contribution. Two classes of Affiliate Membership exist; one for
- Companies and the other for
- Universities and Research Organisations . (Article 9.1 of the EFC Statutes)
List of Affiliate Members
All applications for Affiliate Membership must be accompanied by details of the applicant and addressed in writing to one of the EFC offices, which shall submit them to the Board of Administrators. On the basis of a report by the latter, the General Assembly shall make the final decision on acceptance or rejection of the application for Affiliate Membership. (Article 9.2 of the EFC Statutes)
BENEFITS OF AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Important benefits available to Affiliate Members of the Federation (Companies, and Universities and Research Organisationc) include:
- Participation in EFC Working Parties (of which there are currently 18) as of right;
- Reduced registration fees at the EFC annual EUROCORR Conference ;
- Discounted prices for EFC publications (of which there are now over fifty);
- Access to the restricted area of the EFC Website containing EFC Working Party minutes and the electronic proceedings of past EUROCORR Conferences;
- Participation in the EFC General Assembly (without voting rights).
Additional benefit for companies:
- Availability of Affiliate Membership of the World Corrosion Organisation (WCO) at no additional cost subject to the approval of the WCO Board of Administrators and the WCO General Assembly
